Thanks. I am making some progress down this route but have still run into a
problem.
I am not able to figure out what kind of collection the layers's object is.
When I try and index into it like a list using [index] I always get
undefined returned even though using the visual studio debugger I can see
the items contained in this collection. The visual studio debugger also
lists methods for the object relating to adding and removing but not
retrieving an item. I have tried the code as you wrote it with the
"Document.Layers(index)" but this throws an error for me and does not work
at all.
