[mapguide-internals] Annual Report

I think the OSGeo Journal showed 470 -users mailing list subscribers same time last year.  I think I may have pulled that number in March or so, but maybe I got it wrong?
 
You're right about ohloh.  It's interesting (activity, comment metrics, lines of code), but it's not all that useful for the report.
 
Over time, it would be nice to be able to see downloads by version.  Is there an AWStats page somewhere that we could have access to?

I looked at ohloh but I am not real sure what to pull from there, it seems
to mainly track submissions. As of this morning there are 707 subscribers to
the mapguide-users mailing list up about 100 from the same time last year.
For download stats we had about 29,000 downloads in 2007, compared with
roughly 23,000 in 2006, with a total number of downloads since the beginning
at around 52,000. In measuring this we track server downloads only to avoid
double counting (e.g. measuring both server and web extensions downloads).

After I get everyones comments I'll roll this into the report.

This looks pretty good to me.

I remember seeing a page somewhere that had mailing list, ohloh, etc stats.
Is there any way that we can use those stats compared to now to give an idea
of the growth of the project?

Yesterday I put together a draft Annual Report on the MapGuide Open Source
project which you'll find here:
http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/wiki/OSGeoAnnualReport2007. This will get
rolled up and incorporated into the OSGeo Annual Report which you will find
here: http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Annual_Report_2007.

PSC members please review, add, or edit the report to improve accuracy
and/or reflect your thoughts. If at all possible I would like everyone to
review it and provide feedback by the middle of next week.
