Hi Bruce

Sorry if was not clear. I was talking about linux, not windows. Since i build 
mapguide using an internal cmake buildsystem i can compile using the most 
possible external shared libraries, allowing to me using a patched ACE version 
and now a 5.6.

The real issue in linux is dbxml. You can't compile his main dependency, db, 
in a different version or shared one in x86_64 without have a complete 
instability.
In special, the initial constructor of databases is crashing often invoking a 
big segfault. I know it is a dbxml + db issue, but never found time to debug 
it. Exactly same build on 32 bits works perfect :-(
