Hi Carl,
The mapguide-internals list would be a good place for this type of
communication since it is primarily for developers on the project - some of
who are not Autodesk employees.

I just wanted to run a technical idea/proposal by someone involved with
Autodesk development to asses whether it has technical merit. I have been
able to do so. I didn't want to just post all the details of what I proposed
before knowing if there was any interest on the Autodesk front. I wouldn't
want to build up hopes about something which might not happen if there isn't
any interest.
