The csv file is needed, that's the mapper for the EPSG and WKT engine, editable by the end user
The unneeded files in the installer, that come from http://svn.osgeo.org/metacrs/csmap/trunk/CsMapDev/Dictionaries/ are:
- the 5 asc files: coordsys.asc, datums.asc, ellipsoid.asc, mreg.asc, category.asc
- CS_COMP.c
- CS_DictDiff.c
- Compiler.mak
- Compiler.nmk
- Compiler.vcproj

p.s: when the svn depot is created, 2.1 should point to http://svn.osgeo.org/metacrs/csmap/branches/12.01/

Are any of the CSV or ASC files from the Mentor dictionary directory required? I thought those were all build inputs, but maybe not?

I think we must not have something right in how CS-Map is configured or built.
I've added my defect to the one that Zac logged earlier about map projections:
http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/ticket/913
Any thoughts?
