Can the following be added to the release notes for the (beta)
1) Depending on the order you install IIS and .net 2.0 on Windows 2003 the
"Web Server Extensions" for .net 2.0 in IIS may not be set to "Allowed" and
are the default "Prohibited". You need to go into the IIS manager and
change/check the permissions. I think this is a valid manual process as the
implications of setting .net across IIS should be understood by the end-user
and have wider ramifications above just the MG folders.
2) I ran an install on a Windows 2003 server and hit the problem described
in this article when the installer fires off one of the sub-installer
components. Not sure what the server configuration was that caused the
issue but the solution described below certainly allowed everything to
continue OK after a restart.
