That's too bad. Autodesk should be more flexibile here, I'm sure that they could find a way to share toolkit only to the mapguide users.

The problem is strictly a licensing one.

Writing DWGs files requires the RealDWG toolkit, which is a proprietary SDK which is obviously incompatible with MapGuide Open Source. 

That doesn't stop you from attempting such a solution yourself (if you have a RealDWG license), it's just not possible to integrate such functionality into an Open Source project.
