[mapguide-internals] Participation in FOSS4G WMS Shoot-out

Hi MapGuide Dev's,

Have you been contacted about participating in the FOSS4G 2010 WMS 
Shoot-out yet? If not, then please consider this an official invitation 
to participate.

Last year, the MapServer and GeoServer teams ran a set of WMS benchmarks 
against both servers and presented the results at the FOSS4G 2009 
conference.

We want to repeat the exercise this year and are about to get started, 
with teams from MapServer, GeoServer, Mapnik, CadCorp SIS, Oracle 
MapViewer, ERDAS Apollo and Constellation-SDI. A few others may be about 
to join, but have not officially answered.

It would be great if a MapGuide team would join the game. You can find

I invite you to join the benchmarking list if you have any questions 
about what's involved in participating, concerns, specific platform 
requirements, etc.
