Hi Jackie,

Are you using TortoiseSVN for the checkout? I get a similar message with Tortoise quite regularly. The SVN command line tool seems to avoid this somehow.

Regards,
Trevor

Subject: [mapguide-internals] svn checkout/update timeout

Hi All,

I've been trying to do a svn update on a pretty stale working copy from one
of my work machines. But I've keep getting the following error message:

Error: REPORT of '/mapguide/!svn/vcc/default': Could not read response body:
Error: connection was closed by server (http://svn.osgeo.org)

It seems it dies when the item being updated or checked out is quite large
(FYI: I am trying to update MgDev\Oem which has quite a few large files).
The connection seems to die 14-15MBs into the checkout/update.

Has anybody else experienced such issues like this? I can do large
checkouts/updates just fine from my home machine.
