As the RFC proposes a schema extension allowing for arbitrary key/value
pairs. You can put pretty much anything in here.

The RFC discussion is more about what additional data that is specific to
Map Definitions that we can attach for server/web tier code that is
interested in such information.

Given the line of discussion thus far seems to be about things more related
to a Web Layout than a Map Definition, perhaps it too could do with a schema
revision to support arbitrary key/value pairs?
