[mapguide-internals] PSC Meeting March 31

Hello PSC Members,

It has been 10 months since we have had a PSC meeting.  I would like to schedule a meeting for March 31st at Noon Calgary time http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?month=03&day=31&year=2011&hour=12&min=0&sec=0&p1=55

There are a number of items I would like to add to the agenda:

Resourcing and Funding for Automated (nightly) Builds

In my opinion, automated builds are a key component to any software development project.  It could be called a core competency.  Maintaining infrastructure for automated builds and having someone around to keep them going is a significant undertaking.  If we want to pursue automated builds for MapGuide and FDO, how do we resource and fund it?

Target Platforms for MapGuide

Here is a list of potential target platforms for MapGuide and FDO.  Prudent pruning is preferable:

Windows 32 bit
Windows 64 bit
RHEL 5 32 bit
RHEL 5 64 bit
RHEL 6 32 bit
RHEL 6 64 bit
Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 32 bit
Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64 bit
XUbuntu 11 32 bit (for OSGeo Live / FOSS4G 2011)


General Discussion on Sponsorship

To date, there has been little uptake in the Sponsorship program by the community.  Do we wish to actively pursue Sponsors?  If so, how do we allocate and prioritize Sponsorship funding?
