CentOS 5 32 bit would be easiest since we officially build for it.  Everything should compile "out of the box".

We've got someone interested in helping port GeoREST to Linux.

Any guidance on distro and versions that will cause least headaches for us,
given that GeoREST integrates with MapGuide and FDO?
