Hi Jackie,

Greg confirmed that the official builds for FDO 3.7 will be on VC 2010 SP1.  No formal release of VC 2008 binaries is planned.  I think we should move to VC 2010.  I assume Autodesk has already moved AIMS to VC 2010 so we should be able to find third party binaries somewhere.

As it stands, the current build environment is ready to go if we stick with
VS2008. Only FDO issue is the ArcSDE provider, which we'll need someone who
has an ArcSDE SDK license to build.

If we jump to VS 2010, I have no idea where we can source VC10 binaries for
all the web tier components. I'm personally not confident of building all of
these components from source with VC10.
