Ok good news everyone. The problem was simply I turned off max compression in
the NSIS bootstrapper because waiting 20-30mins to build an installer with
max compression really hampered my dev/testing cycles, and the fact that
it's been a while since the installer for MGOS 2.2 was made could be a
reason why this "problem" was not apparent until now.

Final size is yet to be determined (as I'm on SVN 1.7, so the installer I
built packs no svn metadata), but I'm projecting the expected size to be
around 130-140mb
