[mapguide-internals] 2.4 branch (RE: r6555)

Hi All,

I see today that with r6555 the mapguide trunk is now expecting to be
compiled against FDO 3.8.

If we are going to put out a 2.4 release (that uses FDO 3.7), are we good to
make a 2.4 branch using r6554 as the starting point?
