 The exception message you are getting is consistent with behaviour when
 $userInfo has not been set.  It seems for some reason, it is not correct
 only when accessed from your about.php page.  But for everywhere else
 where you encounter it, sounds like it is fine.  I assume you are clicking
 on the About link from the Site Admin pages, or have a valid a session
 with Administrator user if you are trying to hit it directly via
 http://localhost/mapguide/mapadmin/about.php.  The only way I can
 reproduce it if I try to hit the page without first having a valid session
 available.
