 1. Connect to a database using "Data connection..."[[BR]]

 2. In window "Connect to Data", select the feature provider "OSGeo FDO
 Provider for ODBC", click OK[[BR]]

 3. In tab window "New Feature source", select "Type of connection" (DSN or
 external file)[[BR]]

 4. In tab window "New Feature source", select the database to connect
 with.[[BR]]

 5. In tab window "New Feature source", define geometry properties to
 create spatial feature classes for the table.[[BR]]

 6. In tab window "New Feature source", in Preview pane, click View
 Feature.[[BR]]


 Try to select objects in AJAX viewer or Flexible layout viewer.  Notice
 selection will work if selecting a small number of features.  When
 selecting a large number of features, AJAX viewer will select all features
 on the layer.  Flexible layout viewer will not select any features.
