 Hi,

 This "error" is usually because the wrong version of .net is assigned to
 the virtual directories.  In IIS look at the properties of the "mapguide"
 and "mapviewerajax" virtuals and on the asp.net tab ensure that .net 2.0
 is set.  Then do an IISreset or reboot for good measure.

 The new installer *should* be setting these properly but good to check!
