My work flow right now is either to create packages or, when I just have
specific resources within a folder I need to transfer, to open both
resources as XML and copy/paste between them. Both of these are multi-
step operations, so a mini package-transfer function would be quite useful
when moving resources between two identical servers (test/prod).
For interest, my current process is to dump both repositories out as
packages, and compare the text contents of the unzipped packages in Beyond
Compare, then go in to Maestro and update the modified resources from test
to prod where the differences are due to changes rather than intentional
differences between test/prod.
