 The package loading is nothing more than calling an exposed
 APPLYRESOURCEPACKAGE mapagent operation. I make no claims about the
 capabilities of this operation.

 I do not consider loading large packages (several hundred MBs in size) to
 be a common enough scenario to warrant my attention. IMO, if your package
 grows to this size, it's time to start considering aliases, instead of
 feature sources with embedded data.
