 If you a layer preview which is configured against a Feature Source
 without a coordinate system, the preview will fail because the generated
 Map Definition XML is not valid (due to missing <CoordinateSystem> and
 <Extent> elements)

 Maestro needs to gracefully handle such scenarios.
