It is also possible to recompile MapGuide without authentication if you
really want to go that far :)

You will always need a username and password or a session ID to access
non-OGC features of MapGuide.

It is possible (though apparently not supported) to specify the username
and password as parameters in the request to the mapagent.  It's also
possible to set up a session using an Anonymous account without a
password.

Maybe describe in more detail what you're trying to do?
