What is available to InvokeScript?

I'm attempting to create additional toolbar commands through the InvokeScipt
interface.

 

Where can I find the Map or Layout resources that are available / defined
when the script is invoked?  My goal is to see if a particular layer exists
and do some manipulation of this layer.

 

If it matters, I'm trying to do this with Asp.net.

 

The samples do not have any InvokeScipt commands!
