Error with loading shp in MG studio

Thanks for the response. I did check it and no other application is 
accessing the file. I have MG studio installed on the test server itself 
and other than the Map server no other application is running. That system 
does have Autocad installed on it...

The only case where I have seen that problem is when another application
has the shp files locked.  Is it possible that this is the case?
