Hi Willem
This is a very ugly hack, since the best way would be to hook into the
image renderer, server-side. However, this is how I did it.
Add the following code to the end of:
MapGuideOpenSource\WebServerExtensions\www\mapviewerphp\mapframe.php (or
equivalent)
___________________________
<div style="position: absolute; bottom: 0em; left: 200px; height: 3em;
width: 100%; font-family: verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 70%;">
<div style="position: absolute; z-index: 99; width: 100%;
height: 100%; padding-left: 5px; background-color: white; opacity: .4;
filter: Alpha(Opacity=40);"></div>
<div style="position: absolute; padding-left: 10px; padding-top:
5px; z-index: 100;">This product includes mapping data licensed from
Ordnance Survey<br />

number 100022521</div>
</div>
<div style="position: absolute; top:0em; left: 230px; width: 100%;
height: 100%; z-index: 1; opacity: .4; filter: Alpha(Opacity=40);
background-image: url(../images/watermark.gif);"></div>

Put the logo graphic in:
MapGuideOpenSource\WebServerExtensions\www\images\ (or equivalent)
Obviously the code could be much tidier, with the CSS in an external
stylesheet, but let's not worry about that...
Hope this helps

Hi,
How did you manage to get those texts to constantly be displayed in the
map? Is this a setting somewhere?

Subject: [mapguide-users] Passing variables into MGOS [No Viruses

Hello all
I have an application running at http://maps.nnpa.org.uk, and it seems
to be working pretty well. However, as well as this generic interface to
our GIS, I also need to be able to link to the site with a specific
layer displayed, and with the map zoomed to a specific feature on that
layer.
Obviously, I can tack some extra variables onto the end of the URL of
the link to this MGOS application, but I am not clear what the best
strategy is to cascade these variables down to, say, the task pane, so I
can then select and zoom to the feature.
I hope this explanation is clear...
Thanks in advance for any help.
Regards
Tom
