[mapguide-users] tuning mapguide performance

Im really not in a position to make that recommendation myself. Perhaps
someone from Autodesk could chime in and offer some guidelines in this
regard.

I *think* there are two factors here... server horsepower and how you
choose to distribute your services.

As you may know, its possible to deploy multiple servers that play
different roles (site, resource, drawing, feature, mapping, rendering,
tile) in delivering MapGuide content. I'd be interested to hear from
those more in the know when it becomes necessary - and what the
advantages are - for using multiple services in this regard - as well as
factors for taking one approach as opposed to the other (horsepower vs
distribution).

Good luck,

Greg

Hi Greg,

Hi thanks for the reply.
Anyway do you have any suggestion of the hardware config?so that it can
manage
up to thousands users?

Thank you

Regards,
Kencana
