MapGuide Studio: OpenSource <-> Commericial Interoperability.

Hi,
 
Can the commerical version of MapGuide Studio 2007 be used to author maps
for the Open Source version of MapGuide server? Assuming we avoid using the
Autodesk FDO Providers and sticking to the OSGeo ones?
