Point-layer with MapGuide Studio

Using MapGuide Studio to define a layer from a shape file point-style,
its visualization in the published project appears incorrect,  it appears
not centered. To center reference point of symbol by editing in 
definition layer seems not to have effect.
This behavior happens with all the shape-point  that i have tried.
Is it possible?
