Connecting MapGuide Preview to SQL Server

Hi,
has anyone been able to connect to MapGuide Preview to the SQL Server
through FDO ODBC provider. I am constantly getting the following error.

System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (559)
MgFdoException.
