WMS provider while waiting future raster Provider ?

Is somebody can use the FDO provider WMS ? This provider can answer
temporarily our problem of rasters by installing a mapserver in parallel,
only for rasters…  But I'm not able either to post images in the viewer…    
If somebody made a success of this handling, I am interested !
