Even so, the MapGuide APIs are only accessible via PHP, ASP.Net(VB or
C#) or Java.
 
You're pretty much out of luck for server-side processing unless your
server supports one of these methods.

VBScript can be either client-side or server-side. In my case, all of my
code is server-side.
