ODBC connection error

Team,

Initially, I converted sql server db into a shp file and copied it to the
Data Feature resource via the studio.

For some reason, all I could see is only the FeatureID. According to one of
the list members, Shailesh, apparently objects were not being created when I
created the shp files.

I decided to use odbc to connect to our sql server db (the manual said it is
possible).

I created a data source, connected to the db via this data source and tried
to test the connection and below is what I got:

System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (559)
MgFdoException.

resourceId, String provider, String connectionString)
   at Autodesk.MapGuide.Studio.Site.FeatureSourceInfo.TestConnection()
   at
Autodesk.MapGuide.Studio.UI.FeatureSourceEditors.TestConnectionControl.buttonTestConnection_Click(Object
sender, EventArgs e)

Does anyone have any clues as to what might have caused this and a possible
solution?

Obviously, this would be a better option for us because we continue to add
to the live db.

Thanks much in advance
