immediately problem after installation

Hello
sorry for the typical newbie question but didn'tfind any othe message consernin this error.
After the installation of Mapguide, the apacheserver is running correctly and also the httpsd.conf iseems to be ok, but when i try to do what suggested in the manual to test the map agent i get the following error:
Failed to retrieve message for MgConnectionFailedException.
Failed to retrieve message for MgConnectionFailedException. Exception occured in method MgServerConnection.Open at line 94 in file c:\build_tux_area\mgdev\common\service\services\ServerConnection.cpp 

i would be glad to receive some suggestion cause it was the very first attempt to install this application and not a very succesfull one.
