Yes - completely uninstall the old MapServer Enterprise.

Make a backup of any folders if you need to.

The un-install of the 6.5 ActiveX control is not necessary.

You will want to install the lastest DWF viewer though...

Do I need to uninstall MapServer Enterprise Server/Web Extensions before
installing MapGuide Server/Web Extensions?
 
And what about the older version of Autodesk’s MapServer Studio? Uninstall
first?
 
And Autodesk Mapguide Viewer Active X control Version 6.5?
