[mapguide-users] login

Harsh,

 

Is the MapGuide Server Service installed and running? Sometimes it does
not auto-start after install.

I am trying to install MapGuide OpenSource Web Server Extensions.

 

I tried it on Windows XP Professional on both ports- #8008 with MS4W and
#80 withOUT MS4W. I followed the instructions in
https://mapguide.osgeo.org/docs/InstallConfigureMapGuideOnWindows.pdf
for PHP. Then I tried logging-in to ../mapguide/mapadmin/login.php
<http://mapguide/mapadmin/login.php>  using 'Administrator' and 'admin'
[case-sensitive] with both, Firefox and Internet Explorer. This leads to
an 'incorrect login' error. Apache MapGuide service is running during
these attempts.

 

I am now trying the same on Windows 2003 Professional Server.

	For example are you logging into the Webadmin php page? For
example
	http://localhost:8008/mapguide/mapadmin/login.php for Apache.
	
	Are you getting an error message if so what is it?.
