Are you logging in with the MapGuide credentials (Administrator/admin by
default)? MapGuide is controlling this access, not your domain.

Subject: [mapguide-users] IE Log On Screen When Testing Map Agent
I am trying to install MapGuide OS with the IIS/.NET option on Windows
XP and also on Windows 2003 Server. On both platforms it keeps prompting
me with the standard IE user name/password logon screen when testing the
Map Agent
(http://localhost/mapguide/mapagent/mapagent.fcgi?OPERATION=ENUMERATERES
OURCES&VERSION=1.0.0&LOCALE=eng&RESOURCEID=Library://&TYPE=&DEPTH=-1).
When I do log on with my credentials it says:
Failed to retrieve message for "MgUserNotFoundException".
Failed to retrieve message for "MgUserNotFoundException". Exception
occured in method MgSecurityCache.GetUserInfo at line 149 in file
c:\build_tux_area\mgdev\server\src\common\manager\SecurityCache.cpp
Thinking that it may be a permission problem, I added the ASPNET, IIS_,
IUSR_, IWAM_ accounts with full access to all folders and files within
the MapGuide program files directory. Still nothing. I am running
ASP.NET version 2.0.50727 as per the Windows configuration guide.
I am running out of ideas....anybody have the same problem??
