Hi Thomas,

Can you share your solution with the group in case others encounter similar
problems in the future?

Thanks.

Betreff: [mapguide-users] PHP CGI problem - second call for ideas or help !

Dear list members,

I´ve posted this some days before:

>
Now i try the next step: Testing the Site Administrator with
"http://www.my-infopoint.de/mapguide/mapadmin/login.php"
It will last a few seconds, then i get this error message:

"CGI-Timeout - Die angegebene CGI-Anwendung hat die zulässige
Verarbeitungszeit überschritten. Der Server hat den Prozess gelöscht."
(translated something about this: "CGI-Timeout - the CGI-Process has got a
timeout. The server has deleted this process.")

I think while installing everything from hand with the installation guide at
my side i have a problem with the PHP ... reinstalling the server extension
and all i try was not successfull ...

Also an idea ? Thanks in advance ...

No reaction from anyone ... may be not detailed enough ?

Ok:
1. I install MapGuide Server as usual (Site Server) 2. by the WebExtensions
I choose "Manual Configuration", "Custom" and choose everything like "Web
Extensions - PHP, .Net ...
3. after this I follow all the instructions in chapter 2 "Configuration with
IIS"
4. with help from this list i now succeed in testing the Map Agent (see
below)

 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
- <ResourceList xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="ResourceList-1.0.0.xsd">
- <ResourceFolder>
  <ResourceId>Library://</ResourceId>
  <Depth>0</Depth>
  <Owner>Administrator</Owner>
  <CreatedDate>2006-05-17T21:10:15Z</CreatedDate>
  <ModifiedDate>2006-05-18T15:32:43Z</ModifiedDate>
  <NumberOfFolders>1</NumberOfFolders>
  <NumberOfDocuments>0</NumberOfDocuments>
- <ResourceFolderH ....

5. When doing the next step "Testing the Site Administrator" i got the
message from above (and two days before) 6. Connecting to the site from an
other machine (XP pro) via Studio is possible !!!!
7. Also putting some data in !!!!
8. Building a sample also, but not open it from this other machine ...

Any ideas ? Installing PHP 5.0.5 in addition ? Or .NET or something else ?
Site is running on Windows Server 2003, Standard x64 Edition, Service Pack 1
...

Mit freundlichen Grüßen
