[mapguide-users] Access from .Net winforms or console?

Thanks guys. Like I said; newbie. I was trying this on my workstation, which doesn't have MGOS installed. I had put the rest of the dlls in the bin directory of the console app expecting it to magically work. Now I have to live with disillusionment. :)
I can see quite a few uses for this application that would not necessarily reside on the web server. Having to use an external INI file that contains physical paths, etc, is a bit constraining. It would be great if there was a way to initialize a server connection by specifying host and port (and any other required settings for standard operations) without the need for an external file.

Jason,
I was able to build and run without any problems so I'm with Traian, you
probably need to add C:\Program
Files\MapGuideOpenSource\WebServerExtensions\www\mapviewernet\bin to your
path.
