Properties pane not displaying Web API generated selection properties [No Viruses detected]

Hello all

I am generating a selection in the Task pane, and then passing that
selection to the Map frame and zooming the Map frame to the selection.
The selection seems to be working, since the point turns blue on the
map, and the status bar says 1 object selected. However, that feature's
properties are not being displayed in the Properties pane. The message
"None Selected" disappears, and the Name and Value column headings
appear, but with no values listed below them.

Is there something else I should be doing to get the list of properties
to display? If I manually click on the feature, the properties display
in the Properties pane correctly.

One other question: is there a way to make the Properties pane list the
properties in the order they exist in the feature source? They seem
always to be displayed alphabetically.

Many thanks

Tom
