[mapguide-users] Buffer Tool

The buffer engine sometimes has trouble with certain polygons,
especially when buffering in the context of a coordinate system.  That
can lead to the exception you're seeing.

In our maps, the built in buffer tools is creating a buffer only for
points
and not for polygons based layers. It just says 'An unclassified
exception
has occurred' and does not create a buffer.

Any ideas why this happens ?
