Sorting FeatureReaders [No Viruses detected]

Hello all

I am trying to sort a FeatureReader as follows:

$stringCollection = new MgStringCollection();
$stringCollection->Add("NNPA_REF");
$queryOptions->SetOrderingFilter($stringCollection,
MgOrderingOption::Ascending);

The feature source is SDF, and I am getting the error:

Feature Service exception - Ordering Option is not supported by provider

Is there a way of sorting the FeatureReader?
