Licence Expired

The MapGuide Server service cannot be started on a new installation of
version 1.0.1 (on Windows 2000). When running the exe interactively from
the command line, this error information is returned:-

(111844|152728) License has expired.
Exception occurred in method MgLicenseManager.Initialize at line 90 in
file
c:\build_tux_area\mgdev\server\src\common\manager\LicenseManager.cpp

I'm unclear as to why the Open Source version licence would expire. What
needs to be done to put this right?
