[mapguide-users] Changing web layouts without MapGuide Studio

Hi Jo,

You need to change your web layout definition. It will be in your server
repository with the file extension ".WebLayout".

It contains an element, <InitialTask>, that references overviewtask.php.

To remove tasks from the task list, remove the corresponding
<MenuButton> entries from the <TaskBar> element.

Let me know if you need help locating this file, or if you have further
questions.

I am struggling with creating a new web layout without the use of
Mapguide Studio. I have managed to make most of the changes I need
(mainly cosmetic) by copying the folder for a working layout, and
editing various php files in it,  but I have drawn a blank on changing
the overviewtask.php file. At the moment the original overviewtask.php
file is still being called, and I cannot figure out where it is
referenced from to change it. If I can get that to work I would also
like to edit the task list, mainly to get rid of tasks that I don't need
in this version, but I would settle just for changing the overview task.
Could someone point me in the right direction for the file I need to
change?
