Digitize a point - any help? any sample that works? Have anybody make it before?

Hi all!

Have anybody make add point to the map by user?

click in (Modifying Maps & Layers)-->(Create Points of Interest Layer)


it works fine  but i have problem whit develop it to my project.

i get x,y coordinates and now it i problem whit create a point and add 
it do layer.

i dont know what is wrong.it not work. I get no error message.

Can anybody help me?
