Creating Join to SQL Server

Hello all,
 
I cannot get the Join to work with SQL Server.
 
In MapGuide Studio, I am attempting to create a join on the SDF, to the
SQL Server.  The join appears to work, but no data is displayed, and
there are no errors generated when I choose the new Feature Class.
 
However, if I then attempt to Filter the data... I can get an error
message when I attempt to 'Get' the data.
The error msg:
 
An exception occured in FDO component
no string resource id <1019>
 
This msg appears regardles whether I select a field from the SDF source,
or SQL Server.

>From watching the List, it seems some people are having success
connecting to SQL Server, and others, not so much.
