[mapguide-users] RE: OGR with postgis support

That exception is happening when you hover the mouse over the map in the AJAX viewer. However, it is not an indication of why rendering is not working, it is an indication of selection not working. One thing you could try is check the extents of the map definition and set them to some known and small extent where you know there are some features. Also, try running the mgserver.exe from the command line using the /interactive option and see if there is any output by the OGR provider printed on the command line.

	I manage to setup the connection to Postgis database and add a layer from the
	data source.  However, I can't seem to get any of my spatial data show up in
	the map area of web preview (layer, map and web layout previews) and not to
	say DWF nor AJAX viewer. 
	
	1)  If I view with DWF viewer, all I get is the map component in a grey
	color.  Other than that, it hangs my system.
	
	2)  In AJAX viewer, I can see the layer listing on left panel but data show
	up in map area, is blank.
	
	3)  In the Error.log, I got this:
	
	 Error: An unclassified exception occurred.
