To answer haris and Jason.
I installed the king.oracle 0.6.4 provider with instant client
And I installed oracle 10.2.0.1 instant client.
I then modified both the providers.xml files in the studio fdo folder and
the mgos bin/fdo folder. Jason was right the recent post had fdo 3.1.0.0 in
it. Also what about the king.oracle.0.1.1 at the first of that
<FeatureProvider>
<Name>King.Oracle.0.1.1</Name>
<DisplayName>King Provider for Oracle</DisplayName>
<Description>Read/write access to spatial and attribute data in an
Oracle Spatial.</Description>
<IsManaged>False</IsManaged>
<Version>0.1.1.0</Version>
<FeatureDataObjectsVersion>3.1.0.0</FeatureDataObjectsVersion>
Also still only the osgeo providers show up in studio07
Thanks
Brad

It should just show up in the list when you connect to the server and
create a new feature source. The local FDO install in Studio is not
required for connecting to feature sources (I think it may be used for
package creation or something like that)
I think the providers.xml example had a typo... For MGOS 1.1.0, you
should be using an FDO version of 3.2.0.0
<FeatureDataObjectsVersion>3.2.0.0</FeatureDataObjectsVersion>

What if I am using studio 2007? How do I get it to work in studio?
