[mapguide-users] King.MsSqlSpatial v0.1.3

As Jason pointed out, King.MsSqlSpatial is using MsSqlSpatial for
storing and accessing Geometry in SQL Server.
Prior version 0.1.3 King.MsSqlSpatial could use Tables with Geometry
(MsSqlSpatial) column.
With version 0.1.3 you can also use SQL View. Requirement is that
geometry column and identity column from Table are included in View.
This is necessary for spatial filters to work.

Hi Carl,
For the MsSqlSpatial provider, you can use either FDO (directly or
through Map 3D/MapGuide/fdo2fdo), or one of the software applications
that implement MsSqlSpatial directly (not many yet):

There is no support in this provider for ArcSDE or GeoMedia Warehouse on
MS SQL Server.
Sure would be nice if some other GIS software packages implemented FDO
:)

In the instructions on using SQL Views, you mention having to have a
Geometry column. What GIS software is supported for creating geometry
(ArcSDE, Geomedia, other)?
