[mapguide-users] Beginner Here please help

everytime i load the map age, all the layer is already checked, what i want
to happen is everytime i load my map page i want only 1 layer is check which
is the base map layer, how can i do that? can please somebody help me
regarding this matter.... any help is greatly appreciated... and how can i
modify the page using java viewer not php viewer? thank you very much
