[mapguide-users] Recommended books on Web Mapping Applications

I did my thesis a few years back on a web mapping prototype.  I had a 
hard time finding really good books.  Although at the time web mapping 
was quite a bit newer.  What I can recommend however is an excellent 
reference site for php/ajax/xml etc.  http://www.w3schools.com/  Both 
then and now I find it to be very helpful.  It is completely free and 
has info for the beginner and the more advanced user.  The content is 
only available at their website, and not in any book or downloadable 
format, but seeing as the internet is just one click away that doesn't 
seem to be a big deal.  If you find any great books specifically on web 
mapping I'd love to hear about them.
